Nestled between the Moors and Esterel mountain ranges of the Var, the Provençal village of Le Muy is an unmissable destination to discover during your holidays at the Holiday Green in Fréjus. Between forests, rivers, ponds and vineyards, this typical village benefits from an exceptional natural setting. Many outdoor activities can be enjoyed in the countryside of Le Muy: canoeing, hiking, climbing, fishing, horseback riding or mountain biking, in sporting or family versions. The village of Le Muy has preserved an important built heritage: do not miss the Charles V tower and its castelet, the 16th century Saint-Joseph church whose bell tower was built on a former fortified gate, the fortified house and the 17th and 18th facades of Taxil Street, or the Saint-Pons chapel at the end of the village. Le Muy is very famous for its markets, among the most beautiful and lively in the department: the traditional market takes place on Sundays and the Provençal market on Thursdays.
