Particularities of the beaches of Saint Aygulf
Several beaches make up the resort of St Aygulf. The Escalamandes beach is a little paradise for lovers of the sea. It is shaded on some spaces with fine sand as far as the eye can see. It is also the largest, as it stretches for several kilometers. The Escalamandes beach is divided into four distinct parts: a part dedicated to kite surfing, another reserved for naturism, a third on which dogs are allowed and a last section which is public. The naturist base François Léotard, to the east, is easy to access and offers a welcoming natural space. It is also one of the most beautiful naturist beaches of the Var. You can access it by car or on foot following the coastal path. Paid parking is available. The area closest to the city center and parking are preferred for families, especially with shallow seas and private beaches. The area dedicated to kite surfing is prohibited for swimming. During the summer season, it is the only beach in the area that allows access to dogs provided they are kept on a leash and remain under good supervision. Since July 2010, Galiote beach has become a Handiplage with handiplagists to allow people with physical or mental disabilities to indulge in swimming. You can also go to the creeks of St Aygulf where the frame has remained preserved and pleasant. The beach with gulls, located to the west, delimits the beaches of St Aygulf. It is a beach of sand and gravel where you can also join a small cove starting from the main beach. Finally, the beaches of St Aygulf are near the water park AQUALAND where young and old can have fun.
